    Installation
Use a quality, heavy-duty vinyl wall-covering adhesive. Do not install wall covering on defective surface. All surfaces should be carefully prepared free from cracks, dirt, dust, grease, irregularities and rough spots. Walls are to be thoroughly dry before application. Room Temperature for the wall covering and adhesive should be normal during the installation (68-72 degrees). Excessive cold may cause warping of the material. Excessive heat will make it difficult for the adhesive to set.

    Care In Installation

    1. Prior to the start of installation, examine pattern, colors and repeat in design. Only skilled paperhangers shall install wall covering. Make sure to press down all corners and edges with a roller.

    2. If some material is not installed that same day, remainder of the material should be rewrapped and stored in a dry, room temperature area. Never stack anything on top of it.

    3. After installation, roll the surface with a roller, over and over, even to excess.

During and after installation, excessive change of temperature or direct sunlight may cause expansion or shrinkage of material. Precautions: Wall covering, adhesive and room temperature must be kept to at least 70 degrees F and not higher than 80 degrees F for 48 hours prior to, and 24 hours after installation. Below are Sincol patterns that need special instructions:

    K-114, K-115
This paper is foil based. Use heavy duty clear adhesive. Make sure to press down corners and edges very carefully with a roller. Book this pattern very loosely. Do not crease or pile up when booking. Wipe off any excess moisture and adhesive immediately from the surface. This material is made from metal foil so use a soft brush on the surface. Smudges may appear with excessive rubbing. Slight color difference may be noticeable between left and right side of the metal foil. Reverse hang.

    K-142 - K-153
This wallpaper is made with glitter. Please be advised that a slight amount of glitter may fall off during installation. Colors may vary because of its characteristics; therefore, a noticeable color difference may occur at the joints. Trimmed width should be within a width of 34.6”. Reverse hang every other strip. This wallpaper has excellent moisture permeability, so use a generous amount of adhesive. Book very loosely. Do not crease when booking. Make sure to use a soft brush. Wipe off excess moisture and adhesive immediately from the surface. Rapid drying after installation will cause gap between joints. Please be advised that we do not accept any returns if material has been hung or cut.

    All Other Patterns
We recommend using a generous amount of heavy duty adhesive and booking the patterns very loosely. Do not crease or pile up when booking. Do not use a metal scoop, as the surface is soft and delicate. Wipe off any excess moisture and adhesive immediately from the surface. Rapid drying after installation will cause a gap between joints.

    Cleaning
Sincol wall covering can be cleaned by using damp, not soaking wet, cloths. Use very little pressure while cleaning; too much pressure may cause damage to wall covering. We highly recommend installing these wall coverings in areas where no or little cleaning will be needed. Stains are hard to remove without damaging the beautiful and different finishes of these wall coverings.
